IWM Duxford is a venue like no other, surrounded by the kind of history that you can live and breathe. This Second World War Battle of Britain fighter station has been transformed into an impressive events space and is home to over 100 aircraft including the iconic Lancaster, Spitfire and Concorde. Whether you're organising a meeting for 10, a conference for 210 or a spectacular bowl food evening for 650, it's a location to delight and inspire your guests.
Located just south of Cambridge on J10 of the M11, IWM Duxford is easily accessible from London with ample free parking.
The Concorde Suite is made up of three well equiped, temperature controlled rooms. When all spaces are opened out this is the conference centres largest and most versatile meeting space.

February 2025Fantastic place to visit. Such a great selection of amazing planes displayed so beautifully. Really interesting and some really iconic planes - Concorde, SR-71, U2, Vulcan Bomber, Lancaster, Lightening, Tornado were my highlights. Would 100% recommend

February 2025The weather on the day wasn't the best but that didn't spoil the fun. Absolutely loads to see and do. The volunteers are really great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Only negative in the day were the queues for food but on a nicer day you could take a picnic, there are some lovely areas to sit and eat

March 2025A great day out for any aviation enthusiast. A large number of aircraft on display in a number of hangers. One hanger is dedicated to land warfare. Everything you need is on site, toilets, cafes and toilets. These are all level access along with the shop located just inside the entrance. Large car park. A mini bus is available to take visitors from one end of the site to the other for those less able. A walk from end to end is a 10 minute walk at a reasonable pace. At this time, March 2025 a major project is taking place with aircraft being moved . The airspace hanger is closed on the lower level.

March 2025Best place for aviation enthusiasts. You have to pay to enter and there is a big car park. There is also a runway where planes land and different sections of the museum. One of my favorite things was the Concorde but sadly you have to pay to go inside it.

March 2025I had the privilege of working on this iconic museum's new hangar in the late 90s, housing American aircraft. Revisiting on a stunning day was a treat. With plenty to explore, eat, and drink, it's an ideal spot to immerse yourself in aviation history. A highlight was ticking off a bucket-list experience: a flight in a Spitfire! This incredible museum showcases the bravery and innovation of aviation pioneers. It's a must-visit destination to soak up the history and grandeur of these magnificent men and their flying machines.
