Loved it. Lovely museum with a cafe and gift shop. Interactive exhibitions, from contemporary to centuries past. There is something for everyone. Highly recommend.

i didn’t get to stay for long here since i arrived at 4 and they close at 5, but the person welcoming visitors was so amazing and when i asked what i should see in my limited time he directed me towards a specific thing that i showed interest in, and then when i totally got lost and couldn’t find it, he personally took me to where it was and gave me directions to other things from there, the animal sections were my favorite and i loved all the taxidermy, such a gorgeous museum and lovely staff

The museum is free and it is a very enjoyable few hours exploring the exhibits. We paid for the Constable exhibition which was £12 each, but they had a BOGOF offer which was great. We stopped for a drink in the cafe and they have some comfortable seating with tables.
