Had the luck to get an upgrade to a beach facing suite when we arrived and this hotel has it all. Fantastic inner courtyard when you come into the reception area that houses the bar and restaurant area. Very friendly and helpful staff all around and a stones thrown from the beach, pier, the Lanes and shopping. The breakfasts were fab on a help yourself buffet. Lovely hotel well worth the visit

We loved our stay here! Staff was amazing (special thanks to Teo) and upgraded our stay as well as offered free drinks while waiting for the check in. All staff incredibly polite and calm (also special thanks to the gentleman that helped with our bags and has been to Brazil before). The lounge is beautiful facing the beach and the room was sooo comfortable. We hadnt had the chance to enjoy the swimming pool but possibly will at our next stay! Don't be discouraged by the brutalism style building as the interior is gorgeous 😍

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Brighton, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from both the seafront and the bustling city center, making it perfect for exploring the area. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and friendly. The staff greeted me warmly and made sure I had all the information I needed about the hotel's amenities and local attractions. My room was a pleasant surprise—spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had everything I needed, from a large flat-screen TV to a coffee maker. The bathroom was modern and well-stocked with high-quality toiletries, and the shower had great water pressure. The hotel offers a range of excellent amenities. I particularly enjoyed the restaurant, where I had a delicious breakfast each morning. The menu had a good mix of local and international options. There's also a well-equipped fitness center and a spa area, which were great for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s close to all the major attractions, like the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Pier, and there are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Overall, my stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel was top-notch. The staff were attentive and professional, adding to the high standard of comfort and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brighton.

The Concierge is a huge asset- very welcoming and friendly. The other staff were fine. The room was very good, comfy bed and nice coffee maker. Rooms a bit noisy- heard neighbours so walls a bit thin. Bathroom not as nice as price- shower leaked as no joint and v small. Breakfast was excellent, for price , surprised it wasn’t included. We ate lunch while waiting for our room - oven chips and frozen fish not great- v dear, should have eaten on front by sea- much better and value for money for real chips, we know for next time. We paid for carpark - £29 for 24hours. We went down to see pool - water all over floor in changing room, no cubicle so without robes and slippers, just not an option. Bit poor, (Queen’s spa hotel was better for pool facilities). Shame as Leonardo feels more plush and spacious in lobby. Great views of sea from restaurant/ lobby.

Amazing room with big balcony and lovely sea views. I stayed in the the penthouse suite and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. However I was promised complimentary drinks on arrival but was only given water in my room. A bottle of wine would have been nice considering the price I paid . Also had to keep reminding reception that I was getting a complimentary breakfast. Apart from that no complaints.
