The award winning Green House is a beautiful eco-friendly boutique hotel in the heart of Bournemouth that lives and breathes sustainability. The hotel opened in April 2010 to rave reviews and in November 2010 was named ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ at the Bournemouth Tourism Awards.
Just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Bournemouth, this privately owned Grade II Victorian Villa has been extensively renovated with an investment in excess of £5m, to prove that luxury travel and eco-consciousness can co-exist.
On the surface, this 32 bedroom hotel may appear to be the same as many other designer boutique style properties, its contemporary décor, tactile fabrics and quality natural materials including wood, metal and glass, complementing the light airy period rooms and gothic architecture.
Our private events room can be split into two smaller rooms, each with natural daylight, wifi and complimentary still and sparkling. Direct access to the car park.

Beautiful room with a roll top bath. Good size for the three of use with plenty of space. Nice modern, clean bathroom with quality soaps, shampoos and hand creams. They even provide cotton buds and cotton pads in a little tin. Dualit coffee machine in the room with a box of coffee pods. Kettle also provided. The bed was very comfortable. Space around the sink was very limited in the bathroom which made it difficult to place all the things we usually need. Only one side of the bed had a plug socket available for a phone charger. We were here when the outside temperature was around 27°C and the room was very warm although a fan was provided. The onsite restaurant was good and had good breakfast options. We didn't have any other meals there but the menu looked good. The bar serves quality drinks but it isn't manned at all times so you do have to ask reception to find someone to come and serve you. Had some excellent cocktails including a great mojito. Nice outdoor seating areas and surroundings. Free onsite parking with a lift for disabled access as the main entrance has steps. The walk to the beach front isn't too long and is down hill mostly. Other restaurants are also within walking distance. Bus stops aren't too far either. Overall, an enjoyable stay and would definitely come back to stay again.

Perfectly fine, and quite a nice little spot. Room nice, front desk service on arrival great. Restaurant service a little less relaxed and smooth, and the menu is limited and feels too expensive. Service at morning checkout was a little abrupt. But, overall, it was fine

I don’t normally leave reviews, but i have stayed in this hotel & i thought the least we could get was breakfast, with the cost of this hotel costing £121 for 1 night. We were told we had to pay for breakfast, and we have to pay to drink the water in the room, charging £8 per bottle. I am extremely disappointed with the way i have to pay to even have a glass of water and the fact you aren’t even offered breakfast the next day. I won’t be returning.
