I had the pleasure of staying at RBHB. My night sleep was very restorative . The bed was very comfortable indeed. The bar at the lounge served very delicious mock-tails. The ladies and gentlemen at reception were very polite , warm and helpful. I have limited mobility and was offered the appropriate room with a mobility assisted bathroom. Although you have to park at the designated car park which was a bit of a walk for me, I was given the opportunity to park at the disabled bay in front of hotel, luckily the was an available spot. Lunch was buffet; which offered delectable meals, Right from when I checked in to the time I checked out , there was continuous great customer service and support. Thank you, staff of Radisson Blue Hotel Birmingham .

Myself and 10 colleagues are here for a training session that I’ve coordinated. The meeting room we booked ended up being too small. After speaking to Donald in the event team, he rapidly sourced another room, moved everything around to accommodate us and has been nothing but helpful throughout the day. He is a real credit to the business - thanks Donald

Bedrooms were ok. They were a nice size, but starting to look a bit shabby in places (stained carpet, marks on walls, grout in bathroom). Food was not brilliant. Breakfast was disappointing, and I’ve had 3 meals here this week and all have been below par. Location is great though and it has the potential to be very good.

I stayed at the hotel one month ago. Reception staff were slow and incompetent but the hotel was nice. When we checked out we paid our balance for breakfast & parking (we had to remind the receptionist of this as she said we are all good to go), later the same day they charged my card for £48. I tried phoning for TWO WEEKS and no one answered. When I finally got through I explained the situation and they said I would have to email and I would get a responce in 3 working days. I waited THREE weeks. I got through on the phone again inevitability to only be cut off. On the final time of getting through I was told simply that there has only been 1 charge (my bank statement shows two debited from my account) and that I would have to send a further email for investigation. What a circular process that DOESN'T WORK. I advise they spend my £48 on some basic customer service skills training which is clearly lacking. Service is shocking and completely dampens what could be a nice hotel. Would not book again.

I booked this hotel hoping for a relaxing Christmas Day stay, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The room was absolutely filthy. The carpets were stained and riddle with dirt and dust, bathroom had different hair all over it with dirty tiles and a flimsy shower head. The door didn’t ever come with a latch for safety. The air con unit sounded like an engine every 10min and you can literally hear everything going on outside, from room service making deliveries, doors closing and housekeeping. There was even a full blown argument going on, it was so festive. Room service was terrible, was like they were winging it and they gave me an outdated menu - they also never answered the phone. I expected the staff to address these issues, but they seemed indifferent when I complained. This experience ruined what was supposed to be a festive and peaceful holiday. I do not recommend staying here, especially during a special occasion.
