Stoke Place, Fly Fishing Room

We had our son’s baptism lunch at Stoke Place. It was a fantastic day, the food was great, very friendly staff and the Garden Room where we had our lunch was spacious and lovely. Chrissy, who is an event coordinator was excellent. She responded very quickly to all my queries and accommodated all my requests.I would def recommend this place for any special events!

Really impressed with my stay here. After reading mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. Yes, there are a couple of scrapped skirting boards and a few small marks that could have been repainted etc. But it was beautifully decorated with fabulous furniture throughout. For a 350-year-old building, I think it felt well-maintained and cared for. The staircase and beautiful rooms, along with the lake and lovely gardens made this the perfect setting for a few days away. The staff here were first class, and the service from everyone was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and I would definitely recommend it. Excellent food and service. Breakfast was also served in the main restaurant and was really well thought out. Large continental breakfast and menu of hot dishes with unlimited tea coffee and juices. Again, served by wonderful staff

Had Sunday lunch for 2 on 24/11 and it was excellent. The waiting staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was good (we both had the beef which was rare and tasty). Both the starter and dessert were good also. Would recommend as was great value.
