Don't take cash only digital but otherwise good. No tea making in room, only posh coffee machine but no instructions and water bottles practically impossible to undo. Otherwise all good. Food artistically great but portions small.

Can't beat the location. Room was fine although balcony door and balcony were tatty. Room service was poor, wouldn't take a dinner order at 7pm and just passed my call to the restaurant who didn't pick up. Tried to order coffee on the water side at 10am and was told it was too early to serve drinks in the garden, a manager going off duty stepped in. Room reserved with breakfast only to be charged £6 extra for scrambled egg and a small amount of salmon while the full English was fully included. I've always liked the Angler but it's losing it.

Room was a little tired with parts of control tap missing but still workable . When room serviced water nor cotton wool replaced nor bed made . We had retired guide dogs with us and they were well behaved but some of staff were so frightened they could not actually perform their job . They shouldn’t be serving people who have dogs . We were not the only people with dogs . we have been staying at the complete angler for over 20 years and it is definitely starting to look a little tired

During a family day out, we decided to have afternoon tea and were drawn in by the lawn's beautiful views of the bridge and church across the river. However, the experience was underwhelming. The service and food were average, and the cost was exorbitant—over £180 for four people, including a 12.5% service charge. I wouldn't recommend it. In the future, I'd opt for a picnic from a local shop, as Marlow offers plenty of other charming spots to enjoy the scenery.
