Relaxing stay with my Son training an playing football. We enjoyed it so much we stayed one day extra, Son going back in the spa after his training and match day. Food was stunning, fillet steak was top notch..

Scored a 4 star because we were there for a golf weekend and the course was closed both days. The service was great, amazing staff and a good driving range. The food and rooms were great too.

Lots of potential… Sadly, our experience at the Waterfront could have been better. Upon arrival we tried to use the automatic check-in, went through the whole process only to be told at the very last step to talk to reception. Not a big deal. In reception they gave us our keys, but no information: “where’s breakfast? What times? Where’s the gym? How do we access the spa?” We paid extra for a bigger room, which was spacious and nicely decorated. However… The biggest issue for us was the beds. Our mattresses were thin and worn out, same with the pillows. The bedsheets and pillow cases were damaged and stained. We couldn’t use the spa because it was fully booked - we had mistakenly assumed that the access was “guaranteed for guests” and that one only had to book specific treatments. I was rudely told “you should have booked before coming.” Dinner was nice although pricey for the area and establishment. Shout out to the staff in the restaurant who was absolutely lovely and efficient. Well ran area.
