December 2023We had the most amazing weekend at Oakerthorpe Holiday Village. This was for our wedding weekend, with our wedding venue only 10 minutes away. Giving the family a central hub to stay at and making lovely memories for the whole weekend. We had combined the South Wing & Old Wine Cellar and also The Diary. All 3 houses were absolutely beautiful, very clean and equipped with everything you need. The children absolutely loved the open space and seeing lots of different animals. We will definitely return again, Oakerthorpe Holiday Village will no doubt become a yearly family holiday for us. Thank you so much.

July 2024My family and I had the most amazing weekend staying at the milking parlour. Farmer Vic was a dream and made us feel very welcome. A morning delivery of eggs was great. No faults with our stay at all, we will definitely be back!

October 2024WHAT A DELIGHT! Our party of 10 plus my 2 year old grandson stayed in the Old Milking Parlour. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, cosy and provided everything and more, we wanted for nothing. The hot tub was also a hit especially with my 80 year old father! The location was perfect, with great views and amenities and the farm animals to which we had access were just adorable. Farmer Vic was also amazing with our 2 year old, Archie, who was given the opportunity to feed the farm animals and select some fresh eggs from the chickens, he was also ably assisted by his very helpful grandson Jacob, who was just a pleasure. Thank you so much, we made so many memories.

August 2024We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Milking Parlour! The grounds were amazing, and we found ourselves so immersed in the experience that we didn't feel the need to leave the place at all. Our kids had the time of their lives with plenty of space to explore, including a football field and a fantastic playground. One of the highlights of our stay was the time spent with the farmer, who was truly amazing. He made feeding time such a special experience for the kids, even giving them the opportunity to collect eggs themselves—a memory they will cherish forever. The place we booked was spacious and clean - had no faults at all! The accommodation was nice, with well-sized rooms and all necessary amenities provided. The TV was excellent, allowing us to enjoy movie nights, and we had a great time using the hot tub. It would be great if there were a path that goes around the area instead of the stone surfaces. My aunt uses a walker, and unfortunately, the stones made it difficult for her to explore the outdoor spaces. As a result, she missed out on the opportunity to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. This place is perfect for families looking for a relaxing and engaging getaway. We can't recommend it highly enough! 5 stars all the way!
