Douneside House And Health Club, WEDDING VENUE

Douneside House is situated in the Scottish Highlands, steeped in history and full of character. Following a major renovation, our historic house re-opened its doors on the 1st June 2016, offering guests a luxurious Scottish countryside stay.
Set within the grounds of the MacRobert Estate in Aberdeenshire, the main House features 14 beautiful guest rooms. The current refurbishment includes a complete re-design of each room to create a classic-contemporary style, whilst retaining important elements of Douneside’s original character through the careful placement of individual pieces of antique furniture and precious artwork.

Adjacent to the main House is the Casa Memoria building, which was originally brought to life by the MacRobert family, as a museum for artefacts collected on their extensive overseas travels. The building’s unusual architecture has enabled its transformation into four contemporary, architect-designed guest apartments, ranging in size from one to three bedrooms.

Douneside House provides a spectacular setting to celebrate a bespoke, intimate wedding or special occasion for up to 60 guests. Weddings and private parties include the full use of Douneside and its grounds - from the guest rooms, Restaurant, Library, Bar and Tweed Room, to the gardens, Health Club and tennis court.
