We work hard to make sure that every wedding is unique and memorable as the couple that are tying the knot. Your wedding package will be built with you to make sure that every element is exactly how you want it, with the option to include as many or as little features as you desire. Every request, no matter how big, small, or unusual is always welcome!
All the weddings that take place at The Angel Hotel are catered for by our fantastic Castell’s Restaurant. They serve up high quality and locally sourced dishes that truly make the most out of seasonal produce. When it comes to your wedding breakfast you can take the reins. You can choose one of our set menus, or even work alongside our catering team to create a bespoke menu just for you.
We understand that planning your wedding can often be a stressful process, with all the individual elements that you have to consider. You will be assigned your own wedding coordinator to help you through the process, who will be equipped with a wealth of experience and advice. On your big day, our fabulous team will be on hand to take care of every detail allowing you and your partner to sit back and enjoy your celebration.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! This was my first international trip, and I received exceptional hospitality from the staff here. Sarah, Joey, and everyone made me feel welcome and went above and beyond to help me with some challenges I had in Cardiff. It is also extremely walkable to everything you could ever need. The Angel Hotel was my OASIS!

Great hotel!! Staff were all so friendly and nice. Check in and out was easy, rooms were comfortable and had plenty of room. Can't beat the price, especially with breakfast! Super close to Cardiff city centre and right by the castle. Would come back next time we visit Cardiff

Spent two nights here (Friday and Saturday) recently. The building and rooms definitely need a bit of TLC and a lick of paint as it feels like it has seen better days. That aside our room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The buffet style breakfast was fresh and constantly topped up throughout. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was brilliant for the city centre, the castle and sports stadia. Would happily stay here again.

Had a two-night stay, in a deluxe suite. Room was clean and comfortable, if in need of a bit of TLC. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. It was buffet-style, with hot and cold choices. Great location. Overall, the hotel needs a bit of freshening up but the room was ideal and great value.

I've stayed at this hotel at few times and have generally had a positive experience. The staff are excellent and helpful, can't fault them. The hotel is a historic building but it could be maintained better, some rooms could do with maintenance to windows, internal fixtures and a lick of paint (entrance hall ceiling in poor condition above chandelier). The pillows could also be more comfortable, some are too firm and unforgiving. Hotel is right in the centre of Cardiff and couldn't be in a better location for local amenities, restaurants and attractions.
