Fantastic location right on the front. Cheap car parking if you join their loyalty club. Car park a little tight for large cars but doable. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Room a little warm and airco didn’t work but everything else fine. Staff friendly. Would stay again.

The hotel is about 25 minutes from the station, very close to the waterfront, and very close to the Brighton Conference Centre. The rooms were comfortable. Free tea/coffee and soft drinks in the room. Bathroom had a decent shower. You can ask reception for free toiletries if you forgot anything. Breakfast was a decent buffet (though the coffee machine created something undrinkable in the breakfast room).

Upon arriving, the room wasn’t ready for 25 minutes into our check-in time. The room had obvious signs of wear and tear and some spots of dirt. The amenities, including tea/coffee, soap and towels were generally fine. The TV was a disappoint with no guide available and low picture quality. This meant I had to individually flick through each channel with no info. While the hotel is refurbished to appear modern, you can see its true age underneath the sticking plaster. This gives it a rather false and tacky feel. The WiFi was also unusable. On arrival at midday, the communal toilets were a disgrace. One had vomit in, two were covered in skiddies, and the automatic light kept switching off. Breakfast was a highlight - delicious food, plenty of choice, and helpful staff. The only criticism was how long it took to replace buffet items. Finally, the service to check-out was painfully slow. All in all, I wouldn’t say the hotel was worth the money. The best bits are the location by the seafront and breakfast. Everything else was a let down.
