Minstrel Court

Located on the border between Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire Minstrel Court is an historic Listed Tudor Manor set in five acres of beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking a private lake. The facilities are very flexible with a marquee overlooking the lake, a large indoor bar and dancing area (including our unique light up Disco Dance Floor) and an adjoining room where guests can sit and chat. At Minstrel Court there is no need to turn a single room around!
Unlike every other venue in the UK, one of our main attractions is that our two romantic settings for your ceremony effectively offer an all year round facility regardless of weather!. With one overlooking the lake and the other with a view of Wimpole Meadows  both Pavilions can be glassed in and heated and your guests are also covered each creating a beautiful space for you can get married  anytime - no more worrying about the weather!If you prefer we have the equally attractive listed beamed Long Gallery overlooking the Terrace which can seat from 50 - 150 guests!
STOP PRESS!! We have now refurbished our amazing three storey Regency Barn which will seat up to 135, so now whether you like beautiful outdoor marquees or soaring beamed barns (complete with stained glass windows!) we can cater for every preference, making Minstrel Court one of the most flexible wedding venues anywhere!!
Our highly experienced wedding team will be available to assist you in the planning of your special day, from your first enquiry right through to departure of the last guest. We are completely flexible with the arrangements from reception only, to full civil ceremonies both outdoors or indoors  accommodating numbers from up to 150 during the day to 200 plus in the evening!
There are no fixed menus and all food requirements are fully flexible. So far this year, as well as traditional three course Wedding Breakfasts we have catered Hog Roasts, Barbecues, Fish and Chips, an afternoon Cream Tea, a Thai Banquet, an Indian Feast and Pie and Mash!
Subject to availability it may be  possible to gain access the day before in order to decorate and dress the venue, taking much of the stress out of the Wedding Day!
All of our packages are fully flexible and any element including food, alcohol, timings and guest numbers can be changed or upgraded to suit yourselves!
