We are the number #1 'Activity to do in London' on Tripadvisor

Thames Rockets took to the river Thames in 2006 becoming the first ever speedboat tour operator in London. Within a matter of months our first award ‘Small Business of the Year’ was proudly mounted on our now overflowing mantelpiece, quickly followed with the ‘Best New Tourist Attraction: Gold Award’ from VisitLondon. Soon after came Five Stars from the famous Timeout, London magazine.

Before long our customers returned with their friends, and friends of friends. Word soon spread to TripAdvisor and over the next 12 years the five-star reviews flooded in. 2014 saw Thames Rockets crowned #1 Activity in London – all thanks to our valued passengers taking to the internet to shout about our unique brand of off-beat humour and 21st-century sightseeing. It didn’t stop there – in 2016 we entered the Hall of Fame after receiving our 8th consecutive Certificate of Excellence and most recently VisitEngland awarded us 'UK Family Attraction, 2017'... Speedy by name, speedy by nature!

We are always on hand and ready to bring you and your friends, family and colleagues on Rocket experiences through the most famous city on Earth. Revved up and raring to fly, come and see why we are the #1 ‘thing to do’ in London.

Such a great experience!! Lovely team members, super friendly and fun - we had James guiding and skipper Alex captaining - both brilliant! Highly recommend if you’re after a high speed RIB ride along the Thames and learning a bit of history to boot!

Our secret service agents were Joey and Andy, I was slightly concerned doing it at dusk to dark on a Nov evening/night but actually I think this could be the best time of all, you get to see in day light down to Canary Wharf and on the way back all of it in darkness and the lights of Westminster. Joey did a great commentary on way back telling us facts about some of the buildings as we past back though the speed limit zone, there is no chance of that during the rocket phase of the trip as Andy swung the craft left to right and circles, going over the wakes of other boats, it was all good fun for me and my sister that this was last years xmas present for. Highly recommend, love doing these tourist things in the city we live everyday.
