We are the number #1 'Activity to do in London' on Tripadvisor
Thames Rockets took to the river Thames in 2006 becoming the first ever speedboat tour operator in London. Within a matter of months our first award ‘Small Business of the Year’ was proudly mounted on our now overflowing mantelpiece, quickly followed with the ‘Best New Tourist Attraction: Gold Award’ from VisitLondon. Soon after came Five Stars from the famous Timeout, London magazine.
Before long our customers returned with their friends, and friends of friends. Word soon spread to TripAdvisor and over the next 12 years the five-star reviews flooded in. 2014 saw Thames Rockets crowned #1 Activity in London – all thanks to our valued passengers taking to the internet to shout about our unique brand of off-beat humour and 21st-century sightseeing. It didn’t stop there – in 2016 we entered the Hall of Fame after receiving our 8th consecutive Certificate of Excellence and most recently VisitEngland awarded us 'UK Family Attraction, 2017'... Speedy by name, speedy by nature!
We are always on hand and ready to bring you and your friends, family and colleagues on Rocket experiences through the most famous city on Earth. Revved up and raring to fly, come and see why we are the #1 ‘thing to do’ in London.
We’re going to let you in on a little secret…
When the moon is full and there’s a nip in the air things change…. WE change!!!
Tip-toe down to the London Eye Pier and blow away the cobwebs with a 50 minute spine-tingling blast through the capital! Your ghoulish guide will be on hand to make you howl, and your spooky skipper will whoosh you away on your very own ‘fright flight’. A ‘monster mash-up’ of creepy classics will accompany you as you howl with joy at 35mph around the dark docklands. This is a Halloween to remember…
Fancy dress not mandatory but always encouraged!

Great high speed ride on the Thames. Geoff and his crew did a great job. When they open it up and throw the boat around it is literally hair raising! Great fun for all ages but not for the faint of heart. Other great thing apart from the ride is the guide. Points out London landmarks but gives a load of fun facts and humorous asides. Tip...find out when it is high tide as the ride is slightly rougher and hairier! Ours was today.

Great 50mins seeing London sites from a different angle with Captain Alex and history buff / compère/ tour guide Stacey ( really amusing commentary). My first time of booking this and I’ve lived in London for 40 years - and as a local, loved it! Took my family - boys 17-22, who also loved it. Loved the emotive music played as we cross crashed the waves and tilted the boat at acute angles! Amazing fun - really recommended

This was a great experience, my husband and i thoroughly enjoyed it and our crew, Geoff and Quinn were amazing. Geoff our guide was fantastic and a very funny guy, and Quinn was an amazing captain of the RIB and his driving skills were amazing. The only thing I would suggest is that ladies do not wear a skirt or dress 🤣

Our tour guide Max and captain Alex were awesome! The speed cruise was a highlight of our trip. We had our four year old with us and Max was very attentive to his safety. Our som loved it so much, as did the rest of our family. We will definitely do this again!
