The history of Newbattle Abbey through the centuries, from the first half of the twelfth, when the site was the location of a Cistercian monastery, to the present day when Newbattle Abbey is a conference, function and event venue in a top location within easy reach of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh.
The College. Newbattle Abbey is also the location of Scotland’s foremost adult education college and it is a great venue for events and meetings.

November 2024Lovely grounds with great history. Loads of trails that follow the river, highly recommendable with the autumnal colors. Great spot to get out in nature and see some lively trees, shrubs, and wild kale
