December 2024Went here for afternoon tea to Celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary.Mother in law was in a wheelchair but we were let in through disabled entrance. The Waiters were very attentive and the food was delicious.

October 2024Went there with three friends for afternoon tea - absolutely amazing! Gorgeous cakes and scones - delicious and beautifully presented. A tasty selection of sandwiches too. Service was fantastic. We all so much enjoyed the experience and excellent value for money.

November 2024Recently visited with my husband for our first wedding anniversary and it was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and the room was stunning, clean and huge. the afternoon tea was perfect, plenty of choice loads of choices of teas we opted for champagne as we was celebrating and it was lovely. Our evening meal was simply delicious, all courses were stunning and then to add a happy anniversary plate just made the evening. The spa treatments we had couldn’t be faulted the ladies we had was so welcoming and friendly and the treatments topped the visit. The staff at the hotel was so welcoming so friendly and all wished us a happy anniversary, they made sure we had everything we needed and the service was brilliant we couldn’t thank them enough. Even the bar staff and waiters so polite friendly and helpful. And then to finish the stay room service breakfast delivered piping hot and yummy! It honestly made our anniversary a day to remember we will deffo be returning soon!

November 2024We came today for the spa package and had a lovely day. Food, facilities were brilliant. The massage was nice but was more of a really nice rub down with oil, which was relaxing. Bring your own foot wear for the pool and treatment areas as flip flops are not part of the package but are sold at £3.00 a pair that's reasonable enough. A very nice afternoon. Staff were extremely welcoming and professional.

November 2024This is not a 4 star hotel. And it does not meet the handpicked standards. The room is quite small, the air conditioning heating system did not work, there are no blinding curtains, the TV apps did not work, there were spider webs and a lot of dust, no night light or reading light, only 1 bathrobe and slippers (while we were with 2 people). The bathroom was dirty, mold, broken tiles, and body fluids on the walls. Shocking. It is an old building with charm which probably brings challenges but the rooms are clearly in need of maintenance, renovation and cleaning. Lunch in the louche you have to order yourself at the bar and there was no table service. Dinner tastes were ok but the food itself was cold. Luckily we only stayed here for one night because you don't want to stay here longer. When checking out, We tried to indicate some points but it feels they did not seem very interested in taking it seriously and taking the feedback to heart to make improvements for the other guests. Positive points: location, parking, surroundings
