Great location, right next to the track. Amazing friendly staff that will go out of their way to ensure you are happy and have everything you need. Mattresses need to be updated, though, as the one we had in room 282 was uncomfortable. Not what you'd expect from a 4 star establishment. Should at least have a memory foam topper.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed into this lovely hotel. Everywhere was clean, the room was lovely. Went for a swim and the changing rooms and pool area were clean and the sauna and steam room were great. Hot tub was not working but this didn’t get in the way of a lovely stay. Bar staff were very nice and staff in the restaurant were super friendly - especially Amy with her lovely nails ! Food was delicious ! Breakfast was equally good. Great stay, we will definitely be back.

The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The staff from reception was lovely. In the restaurant, the food good and the price accesibile. On the flip side, I have tried to purchase a bottle of Coca Cola from the bar and was refused because "the bottled soft drinks are for only to be sold together with spirits".

Horrible service and understaffed. Me and my partner live locally and enjoy spa weekends. Sadly contacting anyone at this hotel is impossible. We needed assistance with editing our booking dates and were unable to get in contact with anyone. We called the front desk 10 times within the hour from different phone and every time we would be sent to a voicemail or the call would drop. Completely unacceptable. Very saddening given the money we have spent at this place over the year. We truly want to like this place but the service has been getting worse with every stay. Not being able to get in contact with anyone at the front desk at 10:30am is not acceptable. The online service is also unhelpful; given the fact that we tried to amend everything online before calling. We expect full service when staying at a hotel and this branch/company are unable to provide anything at a minimum standard. Disappointed.

We were given a spa day as a gift. When we arrived we read a sign that said the jacuzzi pool was broken. We were then told that there were not any robes for us. We then had use of a small pool, steam room and sauna. All of which are a bit tired. They are simply hotel facilities and cannot really be described as a spa. There were not even enough loungers for everyone in there. We phoned a few days before to reserve our afternoon tea - booked for 3pm. When we arrived we were told it was booked for 12.30. We requested this be changed to 2pm to accommodate the initial time booked and now due to no jacuzzi time. When we arrived for the afternoon tea at 1.45 we were told it was supposed to be 12.30 and the lady there become visibly annoyed at us as the spa was not communicating with them. We then waited about an hour for our afternoon tea. They needed to double check if we wanted tuna when requesting vegetarian and no fish 🤦🏻♀️ the food was very average and we had half a cupcake for some reason. We have been offered a free visit with light lunch but very doubtful we will use this offer. If you’re looking for a spa day, I would recommend booking something else.
