Xu

Opened in late 2017, Xu (pronounced ‘shu’) is a new Taiwanese concept from the group behind Bao. A handsome space reminiscent of 1930s Taipei, this mahogany-panelled restaurant serves feasting menus for up to 74 guests when hired exclusively. Beyond a velvet curtain lie the restaurant’s private dining spaces – the Mahjong Rooms. Once dinner is done, the tables can be flipped over to form mahjong boards, a traditional Taiwanese game.
