Excellent hotel! The hotel staff (reception, entrance, restaurant, chambermaids) are all super nice and will do everything to make the stay at the hotel amazing. My husband is a Marriott Titanium Elite member - we were upgraded to the best suite that was available (junior suite) and we were allowed a late check out without any problem. We love W hotels so much and W London did not disappoint either. We will definitely recommend and visit the hotel again on our next visit to London.

Amazing location with the most caring and genuine staff. I stayed at this property for two nights and I was impressed from the moment I checked in. The property itself is located in the heart of Soho and walking distance from most attractions. I want to personally thank Sebastian, the Welcome Desk manager, Georgia and George from the concierge who gave me the best recommendations and I am not easy to satisfy, Rachelle from the front desk and finally Marina who makes a mean cocktail. This is the property I will stay at when visiting London. Great memories.

I have been meaning to give this review for a year, but it is never too late. Hospitality is all about service with a smile and here you can find this kind of service at its best. Last year my niece was asking for marshmallows with her hot chocolate @ breakfast and unfortunately they didn't have any. In the afternoon we came back from our walk to find a hot chocolate and a glass full of marshmallows waiting for us in our room. A small gesture that was highly appreciated. Staff were friendly and eager to help / advise. They were also very eager to help with missing luggage from the Airline that came back to us 3 days delayed and they sent it directly to our room. It is the second consecutive year that we chose the W for our holidays and it remains amazing. Nice rooms, very clean, conveniently located, great a la carte breakfast happy to help staff. Great job guys, thank you for a memorable experience!

This hotel is a mess. The service is lacking, definitely not 5 star. Zero recognition of bonvoy status. Insanely loud lobby and very strange lounge area. Impossible to converse with anyone. Rooms are a disaster. Walk into the bathroom, toilet and shower behind closet doors with no light. No privacy between bed and bathroom. Horrid stench from shower. No power outlets near the bed so impossible to charge phone etc. Otherwise, location in top but that's it.

Our stay at the W London was profoundly underwhelming, with a series of issues that failed to meet the standards expected from a luxury hotel: Excessive noise and forced downgrades: We had booked three Marvellous Corner Suites, but they were unbearably noisy, with street noise and loud music from the bar disrupting our stay. The bass vibrations were noticeable, and even earplugs were of no help. As a result, two of the suites had to be downgraded to standard accessible rooms, significantly below the level of comfort we had initially reserved. Midnight disruption: My elderly grandmother was abruptly woken up at midnight by a staff member asking if she wanted coffee or milk—an appalling breach of professionalism and respect for guests’ privacy. Unpleasant odor in the bathrooms: The showers in our rooms emitted a strong, foul smell from the drains, making the facilities uncomfortable to use. Rooms not prepared on time: Despite requesting early check-in, the rooms were not ready when we arrived, and even at 6 PM, housekeeping had not yet serviced them. These concerns were raised with the staff during our stay, and a partial refund was discussed and agreed upon. However, despite repeated follow-ups, the hotel has refused to honor this agreement, specifically regarding the refund for the price difference between the Marvellous Corner Suites and the standard rooms we were forced to downgrade to. Overall, this experience reflects a complete failure to provide the luxury, comfort, and service expected from a W property. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a stress-free and enjoyable stay in London.
