On the corner of Leicester Square and Soho, funky W London channels the energy of both to deliver a thoroughly modern hotel experience. Among the 192 bedrooms on its seven floors, there is a plush screening room, nightclub, bar and South East Asian restaurant. The Wyld bar has a secret entrance and banquette seating that focuses everyone on the centre of the room – perfect for a product launch, or if someone wants to say a few words before a cocktail reception. Elsewhere, two flexible studio spaces, available separately or as one, have all of the latest gear to make sure your event makes maximum impact.

We stayed for two nights in room 717 (a suite with large bedroom, beautiful living area, bath, massive walk-in shower and two bathrooms). The service is incredible. Everyone was welcoming and kind. Breakfast is highly recommended (the full English, The Dirty and The Divine were our favourite picks). Location is ideal… above the M&M store and in n the heart of everything. The three of us had the best time and were massively grateful to all the staff at the hotel. Thanks you!

Had a great stay here. Proximity to “everything” was fantastic! Staff: Great, extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms: Relatively small, lacks some functionality but has all the necessaries. Location: Fantastic. Very hard to beat if you’re looking for all the creature comforts in a prime location!

Stayed 6 nights and I must say the location is absolutely fantastic., however the service levels in the restaurant for breakfast each morning are bordering rude and very frantic. The rooms are nice but the setup has your bathroom sink in the middle of the room and the toilet and shower are hidden behind mirrors- bit weird. Also street noise in lev 1-5 on a weekend is surprisingly loud. I have stayed at many W hotels globally this is probably my least favourite. Shout out to the doorman as they were fantastic and very helpful.

I stay at Marriott hotels 75-100 nights a year. This room was worse than a cruise ship, tiny! Not sure why a closet shower and toilet is acceptable. Water leaked from one to the other after a shower. Asked the manager for an upgrade (willing to pay) and only option was the penthouse for 1000 pounds more a night. All the other suites were under “repairs” which seems suspect. They also were overbooked… don’t do that! Breakfast was also terrible, with everything from toast to tomato to bacon not cooked enough. This should be the lowest class of Marriott. Move to a great hotel, with a nice large suite for 100/pounds more a night! Check out the Botree!!! The hotel, rooms and neighborhood are great… especially for those that like a vibe that is much more low key!
