This hotel and it's staff are fantastic at what they make up, a really nice hotel experience. The lower lobby and bar area is designed with a crisp transparency that makes every effort to relate to Leicester Square right outside. My partner and I sat out on the terrace bar several times and enjoyed watching the sea of humanity flow by. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and luxurious. Would definitely stay again if I found need to be in the area.

Excellent service from all of the staff. Our first room had a plumbing/cleaning issue that was not quickly resolved, so we were moved to a suite. The location on Leicester Square is very busy, but the sound-proofing in the rooms is outstanding. The furniture is a bit dated, but the beds are wonderful and the bathroom was updated nicely. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in the middle of all the action that London offers.

Really disappointed as we have spent many nights in Radisson blu hotels. 5* but we did not feel we were in a five star hotel feels like it needs refurbishing. Reception was lovely, room adequate. During the night a nasty sewer smell built up in the bathroom. There were no robes, never not had in other Radisson blu hotels. Yes there was a coffee machine but the coffee pods were not mark so no idea if there was decaffeinated available. We did stop in the bar, good atmosphere but it was 10pm and they were not offering cocktails as we were advised that the bar was closing at 10.30. This is the first poor review we believe we have every felt we needed to write

I was not happy of my stay in Radisson Blu Hotel Leister Square. First, my booking was for 3 nights in premium room, fully paid online with breakfast from Oct 29th up to Nov 1st. I arrived the hotel by 1:30 pm, and while doing check in, the receptionist asked me to hold 150 pounds for each night on my visa as a deposit for any incident or room service. I rejected this then he said he is going to provide me with a discount 50 pounds/night “150 for 3 nights”! I insisted on my rejection asking to check the room during my checkout if any damage, I will pay it, and if they are worried about anything, they can take it out prior to admission to my room. The receptionist called another guy telling him he gave me discount and I refused to keep the deposit, i explained to him that nothing stated in booking terms and conditions to hold 150 or 50 pounds per night. Then, he said this is normal in any hotel to keep deposit and it seems I have never visited any hotel before in a very rude way. Then, the receptionist threatened me he will not check me in. I said it is ok please return my money back which was almost 800 pounds/3 nights, then he said please come after 3 pm to take your room. Moving to room#514, the view was not the best as expected, I thought when I booked a premium room, the view would be on the square but he gave me a room located on the back side that was not good. Premium room itself was spacious with all required tools and housekeeping was below the expectations as the bed sheet was dirty due to some spillage and expected to be changing while doing daily housekeeping in the next day but no change made. Breakfast is the only thing that I can give it 10/10, it is delicious and has various varieties with excellent team service. During checkout, I asked the lady to inspect the room, then she said we will check it later and if a damage found, we will deduct it from your visa. I repeated to check the room now but said no need. I didn’t tell her no hold made on my visa but it was clear that this hotel act is weird and I have seen many complaints about the delay in removing the hold from the taken deposit for weeks. To conclude it, I am not planning to come to this hotel again and I will report this negative experience specially the rude words said by the receptionist to Radisson Blu international chain management. One of the silly justification, when I said I visited Radisson Blue Dubai and no deposit taken, receptionist stated this happened as I speak Arabic similar to Dubai people!!! Never seen such behave from both guys in reception. Both should be trained to know how to deal with customers as such act affects Radisson Blu reputation.
