‘The UK’s oldest commercial cinema’ is a fixture on the red-carpet premiere circuit and can lay on the same star treatment for your guests. The venue remerged from a full-scale refurbishment in summer 2018, now offering a 136-seat 4DX screen, which promises to use wind, fog, snow, lightning, bubbles, water and a variety of scents to bring screenings to life. Elsewhere, it offers the city’s only laser Imax screen (brighter, sharper, better) for private screenings, product launches and conferences.

What a great way to watch a film. We watched Dune, and were seated in the Royal Circle. The reclining seats were so comfortable I was worried I'd fall asleep! Great to have an accessible bar, watching a film while drinking a malt whisky was cool. So much space as well.

One of the most beautiful squares of the UK and the most touristic ones. It has cinemas, fast foods, clubs, pubs and everything around. There are many street musicians that play music which you will definitely love! Should you go there try to go both at night and morning.

Comfortable reclining chairs. No decent food alas and the don't allow hot food to be brought in. Being your own snacks. Wine in plastic glasses but not too horrific. Film experience is decent however.

Staff, picture quality and auditorium all great. Just watched Dune and also great. However, sound is awful. If Dolby cinema means tons of bass dominating everything I will stay at home and watch films on good old stereo.....
