June 2024Beautiful rooms and facilities, had late check out for free and luggage storage. Attended a business conference. All staff were lovely. Gorgeous location on Cardiff Bay

May 2024Stayed here for the Bruce Springsteen gig at the Principality Stadium. It was half an hours walk to the stadium and we walked back in the dark with loads of other people so seemed safe. We had Sunday lunch in the restaurant which was lovely. The service was really good. Parking at the hotel was easy, payable when you leave via app or pay machine in the hotel. Room was fine. Great view. Great pillows. Nice and clean. Bathroom shower screen was broken and a bit grubby on the seal....not 5 star. We would visit again and hopefully have the opportunity to visit the spa as we didn't get time.

June 2024I had a lovely spa day here. My treatment was done by the amazing Hamma, who was very friendly, accommodating and a fantastic masseuse. We had a two course lunch included in our spa day and the food was delicious. All in all we had a fantastic time here.

May 2024We had an AMAZING experience at this beautiful hotel. We arrived in the morning so we could not check in right away which I understand but the reception staff were welcoming, checked in our bags and told us about their great Spa. The only negative is that you have to exit the hotel and walk to the Spa. It’s literally next door so it’s only a few steps but when it’s cold and you’re wet it’s not pleasant. Which they had a connecting door. Other than that though the staff at the spa were also welcoming and accompanying. The facilities were clean. The hot tub was amazing! I’m used to smaller hot tubs in US hotels but this one was almost the size of the pool! Loved the submerged seats along the edges where you could sit and enjoy the jets. Also enjoyed their great infrared room with plenty of seats. The room was clean and beautiful. We had a great view of Cardiff Bag. The concierge was super helpful with questions about the area and helped me secure a taxi. The next day, when our plans changed I easily cancelled with reception over the phone. Oh, one thing, maybe it’s common knowledge there but I didn’t realize at first why the lights weren’t working. We called reception and learned that you need to leave the key inserted in a slot inside the door for the lights to work. 🙃 loved their shampoos and conditioner line! I have thick curly hair that doesn’t always appreciate hotel products but these were amazing! The chicken sandwich from their restaurant didn’t have much flavor but overall our experience here was wonderful!

June 2024Didn't enjoy the gala dinner held at this location. We had soup of unknown origin it was green. It may have been pea or asparagus or leek and potato. The stuffed chicken, though tasty was somewhat dry and chewy, the gravy was watery. The dessert, possibly a cheese cake, lacked flavour and had an unpleasant, artificial consistency. Extremely disappointing. We expected much better from a four star hotel. I could not recommend it. The waiting staff were very good, shame they couldn't serve food to match.
