Cancellation policy
Conference / event facilities: cancellation in full or part more than 12 months before the booking date will not incur any charges. For cancellations in full or part after this time you will be charged, as a percentage of the cost of the cancelled facilities, in accordance with the scale below. The relevant charge will be deducted from the deposit and/or balance payment already taken from you. • Notice given 12 months to 60 days before the arrival date: 25%. • Notice given 59 days to 30 days before arrival date: 50%. • Notice given 29 days to 14 days before arrival date: 75%. • Notice given up to 13 days before arrival date, or no notice: 100%.

Fantastic hotel, very comfortable rooms with 2 double beds, air con, biscuits tea coffee and water. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were attentive and courteous. Fresh flowers on the tables in the dining room, great breakfast. Fresh plants watered every day, staff work as a team and seem to take a real pride in their place of work. Great situation, short walk from Cardiff Bay and short taxi ride, train or bus into the city. Will be back!

Helpful staff, everything set up perfectly. Food and drink were much better than expected, commented on by guests as well. Staff did regular checks to see how we were getting on.

Clean modern hotel. Conveniently located on A4233 to city centre, Cardiff Bay railway station and bars and restaurants at Mermaid Quay. Have stayed here several times with no issues. Even got a complimentary drink this time.

Lovely room at a great price. We booked relatively last minute (2 weeks in advance) and got a good price for the area and time of year. The hotel has ample free parking and is a 15 minute walk to the bay. 24/7 desk service was great. We arrived late (11pm or so) and had a seamless check-in. There was a free ice machine and guest laundry on our floor which was a huge bonus. The room was much larger than I expected with two double beds- lots of extra space. There was a nice sized wardrobe, normal extras like hairdryer/toiletries, and TV. No fridge, but it wasn't necessary for our stay. There was a bathrobe on each bed, a little chocolate, and two bottles of water and wine glasses in the room. Nice little touches that made our stay just that bit extra. If in Cardiff again, will definitely look to stay here again.

Handy location, nice rooms. The reception staff weren't overly helpful though. However, the barman/waiter, Mark was excellent and made up for the lack of a welcoming atmosphere in reception

Booked same day, was choosing as has EV charging. Hotel is very well maintained in all areas. Room was very nice size with a sofa. Bathroom, very clean and well presented. Breakfast had nice selection and staff where quick to clear and clean. Very good location for the bay.

There were a few things I didn't like: 1. There was no fridge in the room. I paid £292 for a night for a room with two double beds. I asked the receptionist to provide me with a fridge but they didn't do anything. Given the facilities, it is too costly. I was expecting much more with this price. 2. They did not provide sufficient water bottles in the room. When I asked for additional water bottles, they asked me to pay £2 a bottle (500 ml). 3. The toilet near the reception is quite small and there are only two urinals in a congested way. A few things that I liked: It is 10-15 minutes walking distance from Cardiff. Rooms, corridors, staircase etc. were clean. The breakfast was good.

We had a lovely stay this weekend. Room was good, location ideal as we had a concert in Cardiff bay. On returning home, my friend noticed £100 charge on her bank account. We rang the hotel to question it, receptionist who was incredibly rude said it’s for the damage in the bathroom door. Apparently we made a hole in the door!? We noticed the hole in the door but didn’t report it as it didn’t affect our stay. If the room was cleaned and checked before guests arrive, surely the hole/damage would have been noticed. So rooms aren’t being checked my housekeeping. Reception refused to refund my friend, and said we will have to contact management of the hotel. When asked for details for management, she did not give any details how to contact them. Be very wary of this hotel and always take pictures of rooms. I regret not taking a picture of the damage on the bathroom door. Very rude receptionist and unhelpful. Would not recommend this hotel!
