The Mal 2 is an entirely private room, with enough space to cater for 88 guests for a dining event. After entering through the sumptuously decorated Malmaison lobby, our fantastic chef at our famous Smoak restaurant can serve delicious buffet or sit-down food and your guests can enjoy some fabulous cocktails from the Mal bar. The room has natural daylight and full air conditioning.

July 2024Absolutely outstanding stay, the room was gorgeous with everything you could need! The staff are fantastic and very helpful attending to every detail, especially Emily who helped us with our reservation and then also Ryan from the bar. We have stayed twice and will be back. The breakfast in the restaurant is very tasty and fresh.

July 2024Used to stay in this place pre-2020 so it is good to see it still going strong post pandemic. The reason to stay here is the lobby bar which has a great atmosphere throughout the day and is laid out well with a bar you can actually sit at, and professionally served drinks. Rooms are only average for the price and you can do better elsewhere in Manchester. Location good for station and town.

July 2024Great location in the centre of Piccadilly Manchester, easy access as a result. Staff were not consistently polite or friendly but some were amazing. Room was okay, clean and tidy but the iron was leaky, the beds were quite close to the desk not leaving too much room to move about.
