The Duke’s Head Hotel has been hosting weddings for over 200 years. Located in King’s Lynn old town, the venue is perfect for a wedding of any size.
The historic venue has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment to restore the building’s original character and elegance.
From small, intimate ceremonies to large, extravagant celebrations, we have three rooms for you to choose from for your civil ceremony. The Vancouver Suite seats up to 40 guests for an intimate ceremony. The suite is sleek and modern design with a few timeless pieces, such as the exquisite chandeliers. Our Nelson room is more traditional in style and can accommodate up to 60 of your closest friends and family. For a much larger affair, the Walpole Ballroom can hold 220 guest for your wedding celebrations.
At the Duke’s Head, we provide an outstanding quality of cuisine for your wedding breakfast. You can choose from our amazing range, or create your own menu. We aim to create a menu that reflects your individual tastes and we can even arrange a tasting session before the big day.
If you choose one of our fantastic wedding packages, our resident DJ will be available to you. With fantastic lighting and sound equipment, they are there throughout the night to keep the party going. Our DJ is happy to take requests and will make sure that all your favourite and important songs are played from the first dance to the last.
When the evening’s festivities draw to a close, you can spend your first night of married life in the luxury of one of our beautiful Bridal Suites. For your guests looking to spend the night, we offer special rates for a range of fantastic rooms.

February 2025Visited here on a Groupon deal, the hotel is was central to the town and parking was easy although chargeable. The room was pleasant and freshly refurbed which was nice although no separate heating control so when the heating was off the room became cold and we had no way of boosting so we just got under the covers instead. The dinner at the hotel was lovely and our host was most attentive and made a real effort to make our meal super pleasant. Breakfast in the morning was also nice and dished up to you at the table. All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely come back.

February 2025I had a lovely break in Kings Lynn staying at the Dukes Head. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, changing my room when there was a problem & always ready to help at the desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable with big showers and all needed facilities. Full English breakfast was tasty and there were pastries and unlimited tea/coffee, toast and juice. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel

March 2025I stayed here with a group of female friends for a nice chilled mini break. The staff here were all so helpful and also efficient. The barman in particular, Ashley, was so good to us and nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel very welcome and even facilitated a private function area for us for the afternoon. The manger too was really good to us and again, checked in with us that all was as we needed. Thank you. Would absolutely return and recommend to others.
