Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and modern furnishings. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was well-maintained throughout our stay. The view from the window was lovely, adding a relaxing touch to the experience. The bathroom was equipped with all the essentials, and the shower had excellent water pressure. However, the lighting in the room could have been better, as it felt a bit dim in the evenings. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast, which was convenient for work and streaming. A standout feature was the hotel’s attention to detail in providing thoughtful amenities like complimentary bottled water, a coffee maker, and toiletries. The air conditioning worked well, ensuring a comfortable temperature at all times. On the downside, the room wasn’t completely soundproof, so some noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms was occasionally noticeable. The check-in process was smooth, but the reception staff could have been more welcoming and personable. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay with minor areas for improvement. I would recommend it for travelers seeking convenience and quality at a reasonable price.

    December 2024

I stayed here in September 2024 and the room was small, dingy, looked out onto a large busy road, and stunk. When I was forced to stay there again in December I quietly mentioned this to the nice chap who checked me in. He very kindly upgraded me to a more modern room located on one of the upper floors. It was small, with a 2/3 sized double bed, but was bright, practical and clean. The breakfast was ok, much better than the one at Park Plaza Park Royal, the staff were excellent, and the on-street parking easy to find. I would stay again, for a short break. The staff were

I stayed in Room 265 on Sunday 12th January. The room was incredibly dated and in need of renovation. For example, there were broken tiles in the bathroom and the windows facing the busy road didn’t seal well, allowing in a draught and traffic noise. The bed in the room although comfortable, let out a loud creak every time I moved on it! The television in the room was also vastly oversized for the room. During our visit the main lifts weren’t working, meaning following the ‘Altranative Lift’ signs (incorrect spelling on one sign). Staff were friendly and breakfast, although a little chaotic as we were herded to our table, was good with lots of choice. I would stay here again, simply because its location next to Olympia is so good. However, when checking in I would be asking for one of the more modern rooms.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday and whilst the staff were friendly and helpful, that’s where the positives stopped. The hotel and rooms are so dated and in need of renovations, the furniture is old, the bathroom facilities dirty, lifts were not working and all this with hyper-inflated holiday pricing, made not for a very unpleasant stay and I would not recommend choosing this hotel.
