Absolutely beautiful place to stay.overlooking the countryside. Myself and two of my besties stayed here, for two days/ nights and had the best time ever. Lovely staff, great food, clean all around. Swimming and sauna rooms were fantastic. And a special shout out to jack, who looked after us girls from start to finish. Thank you definitely had the best time. And will be back for another stay.

A lovely old building. Fantastic staff welcome you, and service remains good from bar service through to evening meal and breakfast next morning. Booked an executive room, and got very lucky as it was huge! Room 4. Door opens to reveal stairs and a massive space with desk, sofa, space and a big bathroom. Great views of the countryside, as well as the M5 which i liked as well?! Didn't use the Pool, but it looked lovely. The building is old, it has creaking floors but I loved it. Would stay again!

We booked a two night stay here about a week before our stay for a "last minute", midweek trip. I found the hotel to be great for our stay. We had a double room in the "courtyard" area and laughed at the maze to find it. After the first trip to the room, it became a lot easier! Our room was very spacious. It was old, but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was very little noise from the hotel grounds for most of the day, but you could hear other guests getting ready in the morning (hair dryers, talking in the corridor, etc). It didn't put me off though. One thing I did note is the bins getting emptied on by a bin truck outside our window on the second morning we were there. If I hadn't already been awake, it was a rather noisy 730am! The staff we interacted with were friendly - this included staff on reception, in the bar, and at the gym. The hotel offers spa facilities, but we didn't book any treatments. We used the pool (you have to book a 30-minute slot) and the sauna and steam rooms (which are a short walk through the gym). I knew this in advance so it wasn't a surprise when we visited.

we booked the executive room the small print did say or best room available for our honeymoon weekend what we got was a small room at the back of the hotel with 2 single mattresses pushed together to make a double this made it hard to get close to my wife without falling in the gap, the heaters in the room didn't work so no warm towels when you got out the bath or shower, the light on the kettle was broken and there was white bits floating in it, the first night everything was fine, breakfast the next morning was dry sausages and bacon was crispy because it was aloud to dry out and the beans was more like a bean cake you could cut with a knife we booked this hotel expecting to get a room like the photos and a better breakfast than a premier inn sadly this wasn't the case, the second night after we got back from a day out we noticed there was a wedding party there that we felt like we was intruding on so stayed in our room we think we did not get the room we booked because of the wedding party, nothing was said to us on the day we checked in or when we booked the music was that loud it vibrated the room and didn't stop until midnight so we had very little sleep if we knew or was advised this was going to be the case we would have stayed somewhere else and left the wedding party to have the hotel to themselves. there's no chance of us staying there again

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean and comfortable but small and dated, paint peeling and mouldy bathroom seals. The maid come in every day and refreshed the room, topped up tea/coffee/biscuits, fresh towels etc. we stayed overlooking the courtyard which was very noisy each morning with deliveries and bins and moving stuff around which did start fairly early in the morning- this alone put me off wanting to stay again. On the first night there was a wedding which was noisy until 23:30, and then the wedding party running and screeching through the corridors until gone midnight. The swimming pool was clean and staff at the leisure facilities very welcoming- in fact all the staff were very welcoming and accommodating, couldn’t fault a single member of staff on our stay. Overall 3 stars for the noise levels in the hotel, creeky floors, noisy corridors, very noisy courtyard.
