The Old Thorns meeting rooms are flexible enough to be used for small or medium sized meetings. Eight dedicated rooms can be hired for between 12 and 90 delegates depending on the layout. All rooms are conveniently located near to each other, ensuring the option of break out rooms for larger events is straightforward.

If you cancel an Event, you will be required to pay: - Where the Cancellation Notice is provided between 189 and 364 days in advance of the Event, 25% of the Price - Where the Cancellation Notice is provided between 91 and 188 days in advance of the Event, 50% of the Price - Where the Cancellation Notice is provided between 35 and 90 days in advance of the Event, 90% of the Price; and - Where the Cancellation Notice is provided between 1 and 34 days in advance of the Event, 100% of the Price

November 2024My daughter recently had her wedding at The Old Thorns Hotel. The service was second to none. The ceremony and reception was excellent and very professional. We stayed for two nights and were really pleased with the room. All in all we had a wonderful time. The breakfast was amazing. Thank you all for making my daughter and new son-in-law's wedding day memorable and one to cherish. I was very impressed with everything and everyone.

January 2025We have just returned from an incredible weekend at this hotel. The location is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The gym facilities are top-notch and have left many local gyms in the dust. The spa had a few minor issues, but they didn’t detract from the overall experience. The 3 course dinner menu is brilliant and the selection of drinks in the bar areas had a lot to offer.

December 2024A beautiful hotel and lovely rooms. I got married here in April and stayed in one of the two bed apartments for two nights. The apartments have everything you need if you want to cook and the whole space was to a very good standard with beautiful views of the golf course. The dining facilities and the pool area are lovely (leisure facilities were busy on the weekend). Breakfast has a wide selection of food and staff are very welcoming and attentive. Great for a relaxing break and will certainly be back.

November 2024I stayed here 2 weeks ago and thought what a lovey place to come and relax, so I thought be nice to bring my mum and little sister for short weekend to relax. Nice warm welcome from reception. Lovely location and views. Love the velvet chairs and calming spa areas. Great treatment. However, When we went into the room it was a smack in the face with the union-jack sofas pillows and chairs. They was stained. The back of the toilet system was dusty. The plug got stuck in the bathroom. Cobwebs around the windows and lamp shades. Not the cleanest room. Staff in the sports bar and entry to swimming pool could smile and be more friendly and not so stern. Sports bar tables where sticky and dirty had to clean ourselves.
