Just downstairs we are privileged to have the three AA-rosette Olive Tree restaurant, in its own right one of Bath’s longest established independent restaurants.

Its high reputation and popularity, gained and nurtured over many years, is for relaxed fine dining in a contemporary British style. Our head chef Chris Cleghorn honed his skills under world-renowned Michelin Star chefs, and is tipped for one himself by The Times. His unique style – which showcases the finest seasonal ingredients from high-quality local producers – has won many awards, being cited most recently for: “Faultless service, serious cooking of prime ingredients and consistently high quality.
