March 2025We have just stayed here for my birthday and it was the best overnight I’ve had anywhere, The food was honestly delicious, the service and the manners that the staff had was exceptional. The bed was so comfortable and the swimming and spa facilities are perfect, Couldn’t fault it! Thank you 😊

March 2025Travelled for work, felt safe leaving my van in the car park here as it is away from the road. Nice pool and facilities and good food from the bar (didn’t use the restaurant). Hotel and rooms were clean and nice, a little outdated but overall really nice.

February 2025My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights and it was a really nice experience. The hotel is set in excellent grounds and it looks amazing. The staff are all extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is good for access to Livingston and surrounding area and close enough to get to Edinburgh easily by car. The pool and spa is very nice. The pool can get quite busy though but it’s a good size pool. It is a bit on the cooler side in the pool but nothing extreme and still nice. The spa is very good and the staff were helpful and friendly and the back neck and shoulder massage is well worth it. The breakfast is very nice with a cooked breakfast and continental options. Really enjoyed the breakfast. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that but for those not wanting to use the restaurant, there are takeaway options nearby that can deliver to the hotel. The rooms aren’t as modern as I usually like which is why I put 4 star however, it was comfortable, clean and had a good tv, and coffee and tea facilities. Although the room isn’t as modern as I like, it is an older building and would expect a not so modern appearance in rooms. Plenty of parking at the hotel too. Overall, really enjoyable trip and would recommend staying here and would stay again.
