May 2024Lovely grounds with a lake to walk around. Food was nice and staff were friendly. Rooms were a little bit run down but it kind of suited the character of the building

January 2024Beautiful looking old traditional building, with friendly staff, and pretty good food. On the downside it's a poorly insulated and freezing cold building in winter, lots of confusion when checking in (mxied up rooms and bookings), and music blasting out until way past 11pm which made it hard to sleep.
