Our Buddon Burn Suite is a beautiful space that can hold smaller corporate events, with a capacity of up to 80. Built in early 2014, with floor to ceiling windows it offers a unique space to focus on important matters, away from the confinements of the office.

November 2024Visited for dinner with my husband and our dog. We were allocated a high table to begin with, which wasn't great for our dog, but we were moved when booth became available. Haggis bon bons were excellent.

February 2025A year on from our wedding and we still can’t believe how amazing Forbes of Kingennie were. From the very start of our planning phase to the day after the team were fantastic and helped ever step of the way. No question was too big or small. We decided to also do a buffet the night before to welcome family and friends which was also a fantastic meal and service. The day of the wedding the team came and checked in with the bridal party and kept us informed throughout. Being a stress head I had detailed notes for some of our placements for tables and decorations - every detail was listen to and executed. We loved our wedding day and could not thank the team and all of the staff who worked that evening enough.

October 2024Got married here on the 14th of September 2024 after planning my wedding for nearly two years and my experience wasn’t great. Had over 50 guests staying from Edinburgh for 3 nights and 3 out of 11 lodges were faulty (wet floors, no heating or hot water) 40+ of my guests had a meal night before my wedding to have 5 meals under cooked (raw chicken and raw steaks), leaving guest sick for my big day. Communication between events team prior to wedding as poor and had to chase basic answers. Except them to answer all your questions a month before the wedding and give you a final break down with a lot of HIDDEN ADD ON’S. Ceremony room was DIRTY and not cleaned, my husband had to sweep and clean the floors with baby wipes as the floor was dirty and sticky, events team witnessed them scrubbing and didn’t help. Had to put a complain in and ask a refund which the staff were apologetic but with a bad attitude. Spent over £9k at this venue (wedding day was perfect, cannot fault the wedding team or staff on the day) but everything else was a shambles. Will not be back. Would I recommend here for a wedding… yes, but to stay on site and eat… no.
