Bridal suite disaster! Spa bath was great and so was the heated towel rail in the bathroom. That's about as much as I can mention other than it being spacious. Mattress is likely as old as the building with springs poking your body. Impossible to sleep. Asked staff for another mattress or a topper or at least extra blankets since there were only a thin duvet on the bed. I had to make the request 3 times before they removed another thin duvet from another rooms bed and fitted onto my bed as a buffer for the springs on the evening of day 2. They were not at all concerned that I did not sleep all night. The couch lacked any springs , when sitting you go down, way down. If not for the spa bath I would have left and booked in somewhere else. The cleaning was not done after the first night, just the making up of the bed and replaced cups. The spa bath was dirty and I had to clean it before we could use it. Probably not been rinsed through after the last use. Heating was not working, they just said we will increase the heat, it never heated up. A small electric fan in the lounge was a life saver to warm the area a little but the bathroom and the bedroom was cold. The place needs maintenance and some serious attention to customer service is needed. Windows does Not seal. Draft blows in. Its victorian style sliding windows and it does not even lock tight. I would not come back here ever again and in future probably stick to known hotels instead. Sad though as I was looking forward to a special treat.
