Clean and tidy throughout. Staff friendly and helpful and drinks reasonably priced. The evening menu is a bit limited and boring for vegans so I didn't eat there. The breakfast is like £13 if purchased once there and not in advance, so cheaper options available. Also the menu for breakfast didn't show vegan options, even if there may have been options upon request. The room was comfortable with an arm chair and shower over bath. Ample free parking. Needs touching up in some areas like peeling paint in room.

A decent country hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped, food is good and not over priced. Buffet breakfast is all decent quality. Very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is a tale of two halves. It is two beautiful Georgian properties combined, half is modernised and the other half retains its Georgian splendour. You enter reception via back of the hotel. The reception is tiny with barely enough room for a few guests to book in. Whilst booking in food from the kitchen is being carried through reception area to dining room, an accident waiting to happen. Our room was spacious and was clean, however, there were dead flies on the window. There were no hand towels and we were informed it was hotel policy not to supply them. My husbands dinner was good, he had the Sunday roast, mine was awful, I had the fish. We waited for nearly an hour for the food despite there only being 8 people in the dining room. Breakfast was not a good experience, a very small area, not well thought out, with toaster on one side, coffee machine on the other, food in the middle, barely enough space for more than four people at a time, another accident waiting to happen.
