We recently went for comic con. They usually have good events on and this was no exception. The best toilets are definitely in the basement. They have a few bars, a main stage and various other multipurpose rooms available. It's a beautiful building and an important Portsmouth location. Very accessible.

Great place for concerts, stand up comedy graduation ceremonies and other type of performances. The Lord Mayor offices are here as well as the City Council chamber. The Guildhall hosted the International Comic Con for first time in 2018 and they will do so again in 2019.

A lovely building though I couldn't find my way around. The seats are a bit hard when watching a long show but the sound and lighting was good. There are some great acts visiting.

👍Nice looking building and staff are friendly. 👎not a lot of legroom, even for someone under 5' 👎screens by the side of the stage were not used to show performer (its a LONG way from the 'gods'), just ads.

The sound is always good in here, but it's very hard to enjoy the performance on such dated, uncomfortable, limited space seats! The food and drink are also very overpriced. Hand having a Weatherspoons outside for a cheap drink and a bite to eat if you fancy. There is also The Fleet next to it. 👌🏼 Anyway, the sound in the hall itself is excellent, and it is at least clean inside.

Its a great atmosphere and sound for such an old venue but it has major accessibility issues and the seats especially in the stalls and circle aren't fit for purpose anymore. The seats are both very narrow and with no leg room. I attended with my father who is quite short at 5'7 amd he could barely get his legs on the row and i had 5'9 had to put my legs sideways and was left with bruises from the seat in front. The 'accessible' bathrooms also arent accessible to anything but a small wheelchair and get over run by people who don't want to walk round the corner to the able bodied peoples toilets. The tardis lift door is very cool though
