Named after Lady Edith Carkeek, owner of the Penventon during the 1920’s, a vivacious lady who entertained extensively and gave soirees in the music room. Lady Edith is situated on the lower ground floor. The versatile function suite can be split into two rooms or used as one medium size suite.

May 2024An absolutely gorgeous hotel, with great food. The staff are really what makes rhe place stand out, every time I have come they have been absolutely wonderful and really made me feel welcome. I would definitely recommend coming here for an afternoon tea of using the spa!

June 2024An amazing hotel was a luckily treasure of a fine that I came across entirely by chance, and definitely somewhere that I shall be staying at again. All the staff are amazing, the food was lovely and my room was incredible (actually got a free upgrade as another guest cancelled at the last minute). If you are visiting Cornwall and fancy a lovely staff, give this hotel a try! Also, they have a bar with an amazing range of rums, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Finally, if that was not enough, this hotel also let's you bring your furry companions with you, and they do special dog menus!! As in special food for dogs, not physically seeing dog as a dish!!!

March 2024Had a great stay, all the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent, no real complaints at all. Stayed during the week for business, would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Bonus for me was being able to charge the car on site.
