With many years of experience of hosting exceptional events here at the hotel, we know a thing or two about planning and preparation, and we’re happy to share this with you as you prepare for your special day.
You are welcome to call in to the hotel at any time - but we do recommend you give us a call so we can make sure there’ll be one of our Wedding Coordinators on hand to show you around. We’ve also worked with a lot of local suppliers too – and although all have their strengths and specialities, there are some, who in our opinion, who stand out from the crowd. These extraordinary people approach every event with fresh enthusiasm, and bring a wealth of expertise and ideas with them.

April 2024Absolutely amazing experience. Must go. Went for a Brunch Spa Day package which included a treatment, use of the facilities and brunch. On entry, the staff were lovely and welcoming and very attentive. We got our own robes, towels and slippers and even free snacks and drinks. The treatments were amazing and the staff lovely. The facilities were clean and well kept. It was not too busy which meant there was ample time to use the hot tub, sauna and steam room. There was even a little terrace to sit out in the sun. We then got escorted to brunch by a lovely staff member who had notified the waiting staff of a nut allergy and informed us of this. The food at brunch was delicious, included in the package, and we had unlimited drinks, pastries and toast! The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff really made the experience. If I could give it 6 stars then I would.

April 2024Would recommend for anyone looking for a weekend spa get away. The hotel is very well presented and clean throughout and the rooms are large and very well equipped. The spa is excellent, although I would recommend asking exactly what the treatment is, as the description of mine was not right and I was slightly disappointed. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again.

April 2024Booked this hotel last minute as we fancied a night away which wasn't too far from home in Cardiff. Great welcome on arrival, which was friendly and efficient. The hotel has a ground, first and second floor. 2 lifts to each floor also stairs for those who are able to walk. The room was a nice size...a long walk to the lifts but that wasn't an issue for me. Although it was a double bed we asked for it to be changed to a twin, which they were able to convert without delay. In the room a TV, phone, fridge, trousers press, iron and board. Free milk is available at the milk machine halfway down the corridor, so use the smaller bottle in the fridge for that. The larger bottle is for fresh filtered water...machines are everywhere. Bed was very comfortable. Facilities at the hotel very good, including the spa/pool. Restaurant was good and food was varied and cooked well. Just one reservation with regards to waiting staff, although they were friendly and efficient, I felt that the lack of uniform and a more casual dress didn't feel right for me for a 4 star hotel. That's just my opinion though. Would I stay here again? Yes I would and I'd recommend to friends and family too.

May 2024An excellent place to have a weekend spa break. The big pluses are super food (like, really good quality and presentation), good rooms, relaxing spa area and treatments, and steam room, sauna and pool. The welcoming family approach means that sometimes there is a bit of noise, but it's a very inclusive and friendly place. Summer, the fab person on reception, was brilliantly helpful, and in general the staff have a really good attitude. A bus goes into Bristol from nearby, which is a bonus for those wanting to visit Bristol and keep parking cheap!
