Absolutely wonderful hotel and spa. Highly recommended. Bed huge and super comfortable. Soft cosy robes to use. Breakfast was amazing and a good selection of cereals and warm pastries as well as a choice off the menu.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great spa facilities and convenient parking. Excellent restaurant, and terrific breakfast. Perfect location, especially for attractions such as Aerospace Bristol. Easy access to the motorway network.

Need a relaxing break Aztec is the place to go. Stopped here on route to the west country. Brilliant rooms and spa. The room was amazingly well furnished with a very comfortable bed room was spotless. Brilliant complimentary teas and coffee large screen TV. Key coded doors offering security. Staff on hand 24hr reception. The spa is as you would expect steam room sauna and a jacuzzi with a nice sized swimming pool and a gym. Very large sized changing areas. The site has paid parking that we added to our room. Staff were very polite and professional. Stopped for breakfast. I had the full english with black pudding, all cooked very nicely very non greasy and tasty. Nice self-service counter for continental options bakery items cereal fruit and yogurts. Brilliant stay to get rid of that stress and relax the day away.

I'll start by saying all staff we encountered were exceptional and a credit to the venue. However, we paid a lot of money for our stay and the room/sleep quality did not reflect the high price tag and high star rating. The room was a good size but our "double" was actually two singles put together so you could feel the annoying join/gap in between. Whilst earplugs were provided (nice touch!) it was still very loud, you could hear entire conversations and I was woken up in the morning by someone in the next room using the hairdryer! I am very light sensitive so the light that came in from the surrounding edges of the window disturbed my sleep. Didn't have time to use the spa facilities but they looked lovely. Restaurant had a lovely ambience in the evening and food was good quality but felt the service charge was unnecessary considering there was only two of us and we were hardly demanding! My husband found it strange that the hotel is owned by a brewery yet they had ran out of all the draught beers. Would return for a spa day or afternoon tea etc but not to spend a night as sleep quality was too poor.
Honest Opinion
Spa Day Review: I would say the spa day experience was a little underwhelming. We paid £130 each which is pretty steep and didn't feel like the experience was worth the money. Although the staff were great, the place itself wasn't. It was really busy as its a hotel of course, so the spa area is used by the hotel guests and anyone with a membership. The massage was nice.. The afternoon tea had a great selection, but several things were either undercooked/overcooked, and the bread used for the sandwiches was stale. Probably won't book this again.
