Darcie & May Green situated directly outside Paddington Station on the Grand Union Canal are floating pieces of art, designed exclusively by the ‘godfather’ of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake.
May Green opens from the early hours of the morning (perfectly executed flat whites and banana bread) to the late hours of the evening (buzzing bar with nine local craft beers on tap and live music).
Darcie Green provides the perfect setting for canal side dining, serving Aussie brunch, healthy lunch and relaxing dinners. With an Antipodean-inspired menu, dishes are bold, fresh and comforting.
May Green, our barge bar has a capacity for 40 standing inside and an additional 50 on the rooftop deck. Perfect for summer parties and smaller Christmas drinks and canapes.

10/10 on every aspect of this place. It is adorable, the atmosphere is sweet, the service is outstanding, & the food is delicious. I can recommend the chai latte, the banana bread sandwich, & the fancy bacon roll.

Second best brunch I ever had. We had only 1 hour before our train when we found this gem of a restaurant. Staff was very efficient and kind with accommodating modifications of the food. Best damn brunch I ate in a while.

Awesome spot, highly recommend- especially on a nice summer or fall day! Probably one of our favorite meals in London, plus the ambiance is just adorable. Food was excellent and tasted very healthy. Lots of unique options. They just have beer and wine - and coffee (no hard liquor). This was also one of our favorite areas in London. Loved being on the water.

Pleasantly surprised! We booked for bottomless brunch, they were great at keeping us topped up. Food was good, liked the options they had with the brunch. Big portion sizes too, a lot of us didn’t manage to finish out dessert! Only annoying thing was the toilets weren’t working so we had to go to the other restaurant on the other side of the canal. Overall I recommend!

Nice place for a drink with quick service on the canal! £7 a pint but the online-only ordering system forces a tip so it's actually £7.94. I'd prefer if they allowed in-person ordering, and charged £8 without forcing a tip.
