Offering a selection of choices for your wedding celebration, Birdsall House is an elegant and sophisticated setting for a wedding.
Within the house, our stunningly decorated reception and function rooms are available for civil ceremonies, receptions, and dining. We also have several stunning spots in the gardens for a marquee should you require a larger event space.
Whatever the size of your wedding, be it a sit down dinner for 250 people or a more intimate al-fresco lunch for 20 of your closest family and friends, we will be happy to talk you through all the options and create a stunning, unique event for you. Grand yet intimate, the house and grounds at Birdsall are filled with incredible photo opportunities – perfect for making your day one to remember forever.
The Ballroom and Dining Room here are licensed for civil ceremonies, or you may want to marry in the stunning St. Mary’s Church that is located just minutes away via horse and carriage. Scenic blessings are also available within the grounds of Birdsall.
We also offer a bridal suite with en-suite bathroom and dressing room, along with 5 further suites for guests to stay in. There are also lots amazing hotels and inns in the vicinity where you and your guests should stay. And, alternatively, should you or your guests wish to camp in the grounds, we would be happy to discuss that with you too!

November 2020I always feel extremely lucky when I’m booked to photograph weddings at Birdsall House. The house is beyond beautiful with each room offering a different unique charm and atmosphere and the grounds are just breathtaking. Everywhere you look there is inspiration for the most beautiful photographs. The team there are incredibly helpful, kind and most importantly bubbly and friendly. Nothing is ever too much for them and they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the perfect day. There are few better settings for a wedding in the countryside - for photographers like me, who loves natural and beautiful settings to work in, it's perfect. I would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone.
