One of my favourite hotels. I love this place, from the spacious car park to the welcome when you arrive in the beautiful foyer you start to relax as soon as you arrive. The rooms are spotless, and the bed is super comfy, we slept so well. Our room was looking onto the busy bridge, you don't hear any of the traffic, you'll find yourself fascinated watching the ever changing view as night draws in and the car lights whizz past, the views here are simply stunning. Breakfast is next level good, there's everything you could wish for and then some. It's beautifully presented, and excellent quality. I asked the chef if I could have a couple of poached eggs, and they were absolutely perfect, the wee bowls of yogurt and granola were fresh, creamy and crunchy, and having one of those freshly baked flaky croissants was pure greed, but they were too tempting not to. All the staff we met from the housekeeper to the receptionist and the waiting staff were so helpful and friendly, we felt like they were genuinely happy to see us. The only downside of staying here is having to leave.

Doubletree by Hilton Queensferry Edinburgh has been home for my family for the last 3 years while my son attended U of St Andrews. The property is conveniently and beautifully situated overlooking 3 magnificent bridges, is well managed and smartly furnished. However, what makes it feel like home is hotel Operations Manager, David Gawlik, who is particularly impressive as despite busy wedding events and conference groups which find the venue popular, he is always willing to go the extra mile and puts a personal touch to ensure we are welcomed on every visit. It is the effort and gestures from David and the team he leads that continues to reaffirm my loyalty as a long standing Diamond member.

Recently stayed here as a coach driver, was very impressed with the room and service food was excellent albeit the main meal seemed minimal and fluffed up with green salad to make it look larger than what it actually was. Coach parking at the hotel was easy and plentiful. Rooms were nice and large and breakfast was help yourself and plentiful. Couldn’t really find fault with anything

Booked to stay here for a birthday surprise. The room had excellent views out to the Forth Road Bridge & Queensferry Crossing. Decor was nice, bed really comfortable. Definitely opt for the breakfast deal as it is well worth it, was really nice and loads to choose from. Did have a few things that let the stay down for us. Firstly, we checked in to the top floor as we wanted the good views, but we weren't told the lift was broken. Walking up 6 flights of stairs isn't fun with pelvic pain, I'd have chosen a lower room had I known this at check in. Secondly, the room was a little tired, painting the skirtings would have went a long way since they were extremely grubby. Also had a light switch partially hanging off the wall. And at last but certainly not least, the cookie. I would honestly choose a Hilton over another hotel chain and pay extra for the little things like the check in cookie. But did we get one this time? Nope. Did the guests in front of us? Yep. All because we checked in in advance we weren't eligible for one. I had thought about this cookie the whole car journey there. Despite the major disappointment of no cookie, we would stay again. Just don't check in in advance 😉

Stayed here for 1 night and was able to get an upgrade to a junior suite for a good price! Room was huge and had a bath and a shower and loved how there was a balcony where you could look over and see a great view of the forth road bridge and queens ferry crossing! Staff were exceptional! If you’re going for a quiet night away it’s perfect to book this hotel but if you’re wanting something with some bars nearby and nightlife then it’s not the best as it sits by itself! Overall had a wonderful stay and would stay here again in the future!
