Our first visit to the venue was during a wedding fayre. We were very familiar with the location however we hadn’t been inside before. The moment we walked in we were greeted by lovely modern surroundings with breath-taking views. All the staff we came across were friendly and welcoming towards our two young enthusiastic children. It quickly became clear that this would be the right atmosphere for our wedding. Speaking with Louise Doig who was very helpful and accommodating from day 1 we decided that while this was the first venue we had seen we would go ahead and book. The wedding packages were flexible and Louises knowledge has been so helpful as we have gone through wedding planning, always on hand to deal with any of our questions and requests. On the day we knew we had made the right decision. The venue looked fantastic, the atmosphere was perfect and the team were phenomenal. Thank you to everyone at the Hilton especially Louise, David and Debs for all their hard work making our wedding special .

Can't complain about the rooms or service however I thought the evening menue was very limited especially as I was staying for one week. It would have been great to see a selection of pizzas, pastas or currys on the menue. The room was very spacious however the silly glass shower curtain was totally pointless as you couldn't have a shower without flooding the floor, that made it very slippery to walk on. The food I had ( belly pork most night) was 10/10.

The hotel is alright but nothing special, just like the restaurant. The menu is very small so if you’re here for a week or more the food gets boring quite quickly. If you’re here for work it’s better to go somewhere else since the internet they offer is still from the Stone Age ( -4 mb/s download and -4mb/s upload. I couldn’t get any of my work done here and had to go somewhere else. Even streaming a full HD movie isn’t possible.
