Hilton Cambridge City Centre, Isaac Newton Suite

I had a great 3-night stay at the Hilton. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower had consistently warm water, which made for a relaxing experience. Breakfast was excellent every morning, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Grand Arcade, a large shopping center with a wide range of stores and restaurants. It’s a great spot if you want easy access to shopping and dining options during your stay at the Hilton. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free stay!

Very good experience booking the room on the phone with Mona. She was very helpful with all my queries. Special mention to a second Mona, who was working at front of house. She had such a great welcoming attitude. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Hotel was perfectly located right in the centre of Cambridge. Very dog friendly - staff are fantastic with canine guests. Parking underground. Great breakfast. Spacious Double beds Double room. Not the most modern, standard Hilton interior decor but checked all the boxes for what we need. Will definitely be returning whenever we are in Cambridge again.

The check in experience wasn’t a pleasant one. The lady worked at the reception was particularly quiet (around 15:30 on 23rd Nov) and didn’t seem to like customer facing job at all. I was told I booked king room for only one adult, so for my partner to stay with me, I need to pay £40 extra and there was no other option. I agreed for it to be deducted from the deposit upon check out. Later we found out on their website it stated that Hilton member can bring a guest with them to stay in the room for free. I then had to go back to the reception to get this £40 off my account. During the whole check in, I was not asked whether I have membership (which I do) at all. The room was standard, very thin toilet roll and not very clean bathtub. Bed was nice and clean. Won’t stay again for this price.
