Paula at Singing Waiters in the UK
Thank you so much for hosting our Singing Waiters recently, we had such an amazing welcome and were so well looked after by the staff and events staff at the Kimpton Charlotte Square. The venue facilities and function room we were in had lots of space and was well set out and looked amazing for the Christmas event we were invited to surprise at. Thank you so much for having us and in particular to Jenny and her events team for being so welcoming and lovely to us - we cannot wait to be back with you. A great hotel which is well located. We stayed here for one night and had a great time. On arrival, I wasn't given an upgrade as a diamond member despite rooms showing as available. However the chap checking me in assured me that room 570 has the best views of the Castle. He wasn't wrong and we were very happy with the room which was a good size and very comfortable. He also sorted out a small gift as it was my wife's birthday which was very much appreciated. Good modern technology in the rooms with the ability to Cast to the TV. Service was good and the hotel were happy to send up a toothbrush and hairbrush to the room. Breakfast was very disorganized. We waited in line for a table as multiple staff members walked past without acknowledging anyone waiting. The first table we were shown to was dirty so we had to ask to move. Tea took 15 minutes to arrive, the breakfast order arrived wrong and the buffet was missing items and wasn't restocked quick enough . The food was excellent but I'd have liked more Scottish breakfast items in addition to haggis - square sausage, potato scones black pudding etc... The deep tissue massage at the Spa was great. It sorted out my tight legs and was pretty painful but also relaxing at points too.

Came here for a ‘mini-moon’ after our wedding. We were first greeted by Zoe and we were expertly checked in and shown all the areas of the hotel. Zoe was professional and is a credit to your hotel staff, thank you for making us feel so welcome. I’m sure the small tray of treats are usual but the kind message you left in our room was a sweet touch. Also a shout out to Marta who very kindly upgraded our room and was helpful when booking the rooms and spa package. My wife raved about how good the shampoo and conditioner was, said it smelt ‘incredible’, the room had great amenities in general actually. Breakfast had a really good selection and the coffee was great. Overall all aspects of the hotel were great, the building is beautiful, the location is great and all the other staff that we had minor interactions with were incredible. This is how a 5 star hotel should be! We look forward to coming back every year to celebrate our anniversary. See you in 2025

Great location, literally a 10 minute walk from the train station. Also it's in the middle of so many great bars, restaurants and shops, you are truly spoilt for choice. We arrived a little early as we were travelling by train but they had a room for us ready to check in early to. Zoe checked us in, she was really friendly and helpful. She even gave us a room with the view of the Castle which was perfect! She explained where all the facilities were and timings for everything, she then showed us to the lifts and even arranged for some complimentary fizz as it was my Birthday which was greatly appreciated. Rooms were of a good size, you never had to wait long for the lift. They have literally thought of everything in this Hotel. The attention to detail is impressive! All the staff are really helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, Zoe in particular went above and beyond so a big thank you to her! The Spa was lovely, there is a pool, sauna, steam room and rainfall shower. The amenities in the changing rooms are second to none! Don't miss out on Happy Hour in the Bar which is every evening between 5.00-6.00pm where you are given complimentary wine and lager.

I went to the spa at this hotel for my birthday in September and I was blown away. Can’t wait to come back! The facial and massage I received were amazing. The pool was closed on the day, and the girls at the front desk offered me and my mum a free pass for the facilities for the bother. I tried out the sound room, definitely something special. 100% worth every penny :).
