I have been going to dance classes at this studio for the past few months and really enjoy it every single time. As someone with very limited prior dance experience, I was nervous to start new classes but Rowan makes everyone feel welcome no matter what level they're at. His contemporary, ballet and jazz classes are fun but challenging and I have seen so much improvement in my skills already. The studio itself is great and all members of staff are friendly and helpful.

This gym is the definition of catfish. The website grossly misrepresents the gym and facilities, walking into The Factory feels like a very poorly funded youth centre, the 'sauna' is basically a glorified broom cupboard. They have no morning or daytime classes in the week, the new trainers are very clearly inexperienced and struggle to run a class, and the prices have risen considerably this year. There are actual luxury gyms in the same area that are cheaper than The Factory. The aerial & pole classes are the USP and keep this gym a float but for £149 its not worth it and the numbers have drop considerably. If I could give any advice to management if could be if you are going to charge that of 3Tribes, 1Rebel, Gymbox even bordering on Third Space you have a lot of work to put into your offering and facilities!

This used to be the heart and soul of our local pole community but since the change of management this has changed significantly with the best teachers having to leave and many members ending their membership as fewer great classes were on offer. This is such a shame and I've been sad to have to leave after over 3 years of virtually living at the Centre. Many of my training buddies have moved on to other places. My time has come too!

I joined The Factory about 8 years ago as it was amazing value for a gym that also did dance classes and I wanted a mixture of regular fitness and dance. We all knew the previous owner who was always about and available, the gym wasn't trendy but it was clean and we had what we needed. Due to personal changes during covid I cancelled my membership temporarily then came back on class packs. I learnt the gym was under new management and was also aware of the ridiculous new monthly price, even more shocking when I returned to the gym and saw that it was in a worse state than before. Dead plants covered in insect infestations, no loo roll, no hand soap, things not fixed. They've tried to make it trendy by adding a coffee point but that's not important! Health and cleanliness is! Listening to teachers and members who have been complaining for months is! Sadly I'm now looking for somewhere new as it's just not worth the journey to get here anymore. What a shame, I dont see a bright future for this gym which is even more disheartening as someone who is an advocate for indie and women run businesses.
