Glendower Weddings
You’ll be in safe hands when you choose the Glendower Hotel to host your wedding. Situated in a sea front location on the promenade in Lytham St Annes, we take pride in providing a unique wedding every time and we can be on hand as much or as little as you want in the build up to your big day.
Civil Ceremonies
We offer two beautiful civil ceremony rooms for you to choose from. The Lowther Rooms has been recently refurbished and can host weddings for up to 40 guests.
The Georgian Suite holds a twinkling fairy light backdrop to your perfect ceremony for up to 120 and up to 160 for the evening wedding reception.
The Packages
Glendower weddings have created three wedding packages to choose from. The first is the late availability package which is available on selected dates within the next couple of months. The late availability package is £2999.00 and includes 50 day guests and 100 evening guests. The second package is the Cherish package which includes all your requirements to create the perfect wedding day. The third package is the Love package which has the little extras such as 4 foot LOVE letters, centre pieces and many more. Both the Cherish and Love package are based on 50 day guests and 100 evening guests. However if you would like to add more guests on, we can add these on for an additional cost. Alternatively if you would like a bespoke package please contact the co-ordinator directly.
Events
The Glendower Hotel, holds a monthly wedding open evening, where the Georgian is fully laid up as a wedding breakfast or a ceremony to allow you to picture your big day with us. We also host a handful of our recommended suppliers to allow you to gain ideas. The wedding open evenings are always held on the last Wednesday of the month between 6-8pm.
Appointments
If you would like to have a show around appointment, it is always preferred to book an appointment to ensure the rooms are available to view and to make sure the wedding co-ordinator is also available to have a dedicated meeting.

January 2025We enjoyed a wonderful few days at this fabulous hotel. Very clean, very warm ( how lovely) dog friendly, well run with great food. We had a Seaview in a large room. Well appointed, warm and spacious. On arrival we were given dog bowls,mat and throws along with a warm welcome. The restaurant had dog friendly areas and it was clean and warm. Not often you can sit in a restaurant these days in decent clothes and not be dithering. Because we weren't freezing cold and blasted by air con, we sat longer and spent more. Simples. Restaurant menu was good. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was a real feast and cooked to perfection. They even gave us a bowl of sausage for our dogs! Nothing was too much trouble and it was the most relaxing stay. We will return as this place is an absolute gem.

February 2025We stayed the night for my Birthday with our 2 boys. They are Great Danes so bigger than your average dog. That always makes me feel a bit anxious when checking in. I had no need to worry ! The hotel staff where all amazing and made us and our boys feel so welcome. Everyone was amazed by their size. The hotel is extremely dog friendly even gave us sausages for the boys at breakfast. The room was so nice and clean. The bar area was fantastic. Thanks Glendower Hotel

January 2025We stayed in the family room. Was lovely lay out. Had a big bed in the main room with TV, tea and coffee etc and then a separate room attached with two single beds and enough space for a cot at the end without being stuck for space to get around etc. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. We only stayed for 1 night whilst visiting family locally. The weather was awful as didn't stop raining but you wouldn't have known. It was all dressed for christmas as we were towards the end of November (23rd). Ideal location just opposite the beach. We walked down to the amusements on the pier, took about 5-10 minutes with a 5 year old and a pram. The breakfast was delicious and it was all table service. Only thing that let it down for us, is there wasn't much of a child option for breakfast. For example we would normally have had Porridge for our 1 year old and we had it but it was in a massive bowl and to hot to begin with. But this was minor and was just me not wanting to waste food, would have preferred a smaller portion fit for a child. We were able to get an electric plug in parking space at no extra charge to us for using. I believe it started at 10pm overnight. All in all, I would definitely stay again and we were all very happy with our stay.
