Spanning over two floors, St. Christopher’s Inn presents a feeling of welcome and warmth through a world where tradition meets modernity, and the spirit of old London comes alive. The pub's interior exudes character, with rich wooden furnishings with vintage memorabilia, and cosy nooks inviting patrons to mingle.
Amidst the lively bustle of the ground floor, the bar takes centre stage, and showcases an impressive array of beverages ranging from local ales to classic cocktails. Alex, their dedicated Head of Food, passionately crafts mouth-watering dishes inspired by traditional pub fare with a contemporary flair that captivates the senses. Nestled in the cosy depths of the pub the back restaurant area offers a snug retreat, complete with a projector for catching all the sports action while savouring comfort foods. Venturing downstairs, the Inn unveils another layer of the pub’s charm, where a welcoming private area awaits.
Situated underneath the main bar, The Lounge Room presents itself as a cosy and secluded space away from the hustle and bustle above. Decked out with a sofa, projector for entertainment or presentations, intimate cove seating and soft lighting, the space exudes an ambiance that seamlessly blends elegance with comfort. With a capacity of 60, The Lounge has seen an array of events over its time, with some including: hen parties, engagement parties, speed dating events, corporate do’s and birthdays!

Let me start off by saying that even though I have barely any experience staying at hostels, I have travelled quite a bit in my life and in all my years, I’ve never really had an experience quite like this small but cozy inn right here. I first stayed at the other St Christopher hostel right beside this one on the same street and even though it’s bigger and it accommodates more people, I cannot stress enough that the difference in quality between the two is simply too big in favor of the smaller inn. First of all, it’s MUCH MUCH cleaner. The other hostel had cockroaches coming out of the faucets and bathrooms whereas in the inn it was actually amazing showering there and taking my time in the bathroom. There is a very kind and amazing person there called Kinciks but everyone calls her “Mami”. She literally is a goddess when it comes to keeping there place in check and the cleanliness is spot on. Second, the service and staff were excellent as they were very attentive to my needs and fixed a minor error in my booking with no inconvenience. Third, the community that forms in this inn/bar/pub is one of the most caring, wholesome group of people I’ve ever met. It was great to share experiences with people all over the world. Shoutouts to Dani, Javier and Emma Lastly, the bar and their staff was amazing. They give you discounts on beers and drinks just for staying there. I had a great time with Sana, she is an amazing bartender and such a lovely person. If you’re planning to stay at any hostel, one that’s affordable, clean and trusting, you won’t go wrong with this one. I actually miss the people that I met there and hopefully when I come back they’ll still be there. Oh and it’s built on an actual historic place built in the 1600’s which is amazing how well conserved it is. I am very lucky to have found this place. -with Love, always. Eduardo from Puerto Rico!

I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity shown by Ella when we found ourselves without a place to stay. We had been struggling to find accommodation, and at the last moment, Ella graciously offered us a room in St. Christopher's Inn London....From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed.....The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was clear that Ella takes great care in providing a comfortable space for guests. Beyond the physical comfort, the warm hospitality and willingness to help us out in a stressful situation truly made all the difference. Ella went above and beyond, offering helpful local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

I stayed at the St Christopher’s hostel in Hammersmith. I paid £22 a night to stay in an 8 bedded female only dorm and £5 extra to have the breakfast in the morning. The dorm itself was fairly clean and tidy. There were lockers under the bed to put your stuff in (although one of the lockers was missing under my bed). I got the top bunk, it was comfy enough. The bunk light didn’t work unfortunately so had to use my phone light. The mattress depressed in the middle a bit but was comfy enough. The room had an ensuite with a toilet, sink, and shower. The shower had really good water pressure. They charge £5 for a towel so bring your own. There was also a seperate shower and toilet outside the room if the one inside the room was busy. There was a group of 18 year olds staying that were incredibly noisy in the rooms around my room. I always make sure to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. Over all, it was a good location and pretty tidy. Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast though as they started packing it up before 10am so would often miss out on half of the food/drinks.

It was a really gross. There’s no real ventilation in the rooms so you have to keep the window open. Unfortunately, that lets in the cigarette smoke from the pub patrons down below, along with their loud and shrill voices. So, don’t plan on getting any sleep before the pub closes (even on weekdays). The showers are even worse. I’m not a big guy (5’8”, with small to medium shoulder widths), and I couldn’t turn comfortably in the shower and kept bumping against the shower door or its walls. I take full blame for not having researched this place properly. The low price appealed to me. That said, if you’re looking for a comfortable, night’s rest, do not book this place. I haven’t had a decent sleep in three nights.
