I love the concept of afternoon tea, it's a great time for a snack so you're not famished at dinner. We reserved a time at the Milestone because we would be in the area. My husband and I had spent the day wandering around the V&A museum and a few hours at Hyde Park just walking around. First off, I LOVE the decor and the atmosphere. I'm a sucker for older architecture and it's displayed prominently yet lovingly well kept. The other thing, they did not have a strict dress code, but they did discourage sportswear and untailored shorts (jorts I guess?). The food was delicious, adorably presented yet a lot. We were stuffed by the end and couldn't finish it. My favorites were the scones, they were perfectly warm, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Both my husband and I were quite happy and we are looking forward to returning next year.
